“We are pilgrims, but did not book there to stay the night. We only stopped for a late lunch on our way to our albergue and the food was absolutely delicious (no pilgrim menu during the day, and that was ok. Food was 10/10). Our waitress was so patient and understanding with our toddler, especially after long day walking the Camino. I absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone whether you're a peregrino or not.”

“Barman seemed to be in a bad mood most of the time. Although this was to everyone not just us. Rooms newly decorated. Bed very comfy. Nice and quiet. Food very good value 11 euros for a big plate. Very welcome stay after our long day in the mountains. On the plus side the receptionist was very welcoming.”

“We stayed here in 2023 when we walked the Camino . We stayed here again in 2026 on our second Camino and things haven’t changed - it is still brilliant! The set pilgrims meal is magnificent. We had the salad with Walnuts , sultanas , goats cheese and pears . All ingredients were fresh and delicious. The main was veal stew or pork knuckle. Both dishes were delicious . The deserts were cheese cake and yogurt with berries . Yum. To top it off we received a full bottle of Navarra Tempranillo! The waitress was warm , hardworking and friendly. The recently renovated rooms were large and well maintained. I couldn’t fault them.”

“Wow! For a Compostela hostel? A 6/5. It’s clean, modern, the reception is kind and helpful. The rooms are quite private, with only 4 people in a large room (even separate levels in the room: 2 up and 2 downstairs), with private toilet and shower per room. Equipped with towel dryer, radiator, storage, a table and so on. It’s great. Fantastic for this price. A little miss - the lack of a kettle to boil some water in the common areas.”
